Hi, I'm a newby and I really would like to join this swap! Just a question though, what does "fete" stands for... Thank you!

oh this sounds like lots of fun :) ive been trying to organise all my recipes lately anyway..

melouille.. i think fete might mean big portions (as in tray bakes, things you would buy at a church/school/sportsday fete) i have one particular one in mind that i get asked to make over and over (im a member of the pta :) )

School fete or fair recipe: coconut ice, toffees, fairy cakes etc.

So for fete are we talking like a 9x13 inch pan? I searched and couldn't come up with the definition of fete, so I'm not sure exactly on the size requirement.

So fete is would be like a bar type cookie or candy?

I'm glad someone clarified fete, because for some reason I read it as feta (like feta cheese). @Demonna I am going to assume its a recipe that feeds a lot of people like a pot luck dinner.
